SteamFest March 1999

  These are the pictures of 'SteamFest 1999', a special steam running day and town festival. A special train ran from from Sydney (3830 this year) and a double header on the loop line.

  This festival is held on the first Sunday in March each year and marks the Official start of the steam running season.

  Traditionally it also rains :-( This proved to be some what challanging to my digital camera. The effective resolution drops off in bad light and strong contrasts are not handled well at all.
